We leave early morning from ViaVia for a two-hour car trip to Tritis, a village in the lush hills of Kulon Progo.
From here we follow village roads through tea, coffee, clove, and albasia plantations direction Borobudur. During this medium to hard 4-5 hours walk, be mentally prepared for lots of oooh’s and aah’s for the extraordinary views.
At Balkondes (a community-based corporation), the car awaits us to take us on a final 15 minutes ride to Borobudur.
