Originating from Wira (a.k.a. Drawsky)’s journey—which saw him transition from graffiti to tie-dye in 2021. The solo exhibition “Tie Day” marks five years of Wira’s exploration, learning, and self-discovery as an artist.
Based on the concept of “The Golden Age,” this exhibition interprets Wira’s artistic journey as akin to the early stages of human life, a time full of experimentation, growth, and character development. Rather than presenting an archive of works from the past five years, Wira showcases new pieces that reflect his artistic identity through explorations of color, patterns, and new possibilities in the presentation of tie-dye art.
“Tie Day” is both a celebration of the journey we’ve taken and the beginning of a creative journey that will continue to evolve.
