We take you on a medium to high level trek through the ever-green lush hills of Menoreh, just one-and-a-half-hour west of Jogja.
This region is not only known for its marvelous views but also for the role it played in Indonesia’s struggle for Independence during the 19th and first half of the 20th century. Behind every turn of this walk there are trilling stories to be found about hidden hideaways, secret signals and remarkable guerrilla techniques and tactics.
The spectacular trail meanders through rice fields, takes you along steep cliffs and caves and eventually brings you all the way up, through the jungle, to the top of Kleco hill where a breathtaking panoramic view awaits. Strap on your boots and join us for this truly memorable hike!
