Divine Spices – Chute Indonézie was founded in 2012 and is a unique direct trade project that offers the finest artisan natural products with an ethical story to tell. Due to the direct trade cooperation with farmers, they supervise every step of production, quality control and care of farmers. All their products are handmade and packed in hand-folded paper packaging. They prefer hand-picked packaging because it provides honesty, precise- ness, and high quality. It’s also a good system to promote employment opportunity for the local residents.

The founders of Divine Spices were shocked to see unfair practices of how food producers and wholesalers were dealing with farmers. Besides that, the quality of the products was fairly low. By creating a direct fair trade project they were able to maintain the quality of the farmers and the quality of the product itself. They cooperate with hundreds of farmers and approximately 100 companies in Europe (food producers, restaurants, coffee shops, retailers and wholesalers).

This project fullfills their souls; it became a way and destiny in their life. The founders woke up with a good feeling that they can make people happier and create something that is beneficial for many: happy farmers and the community on one hand and happy satisfied customers on the other hand. Due to this unique and successful concept, they deliver the best quality spices with healthy ingredients. They believe that they are doing something great for people‘s health and they support the lives of many others.

Their goal is to continue doing what they are good at. They are fascinated with Javanese people and their huge kind hearts. Working with these unique people and using exotic ingredients is simply a gift to their life.
